Make A Difference – Become a Councillor

March 20th 2023

The Parish Council currently has four (4) councillor vacancies which will be filled by co-option. Co-option is the process by which the Parish Council selects a new Councillor when an election hasn’t been requested.

The co-option process will start on Monday 27th March 2023 and anyone wishing to apply has 14 days to return their application (Deadline Monday 10th April 2023).

The co-option process details can be found HERE whilst the eligibility and application forms can be found HERE. Please note that both forms need to be signed and returned.

If you would like to know more about becoming a Councillor, you can contact the Clerk or attend the Council meeting being held on Wednesday 29th March 2023. Alternatively, the National Association of Local Councils has plenty of information on their website

Any queries can be directed to the parish council office.
