I am writing to provide you with an update about our operations at the Cornwall Energy Recovery Centre (CERC) following the recent period of strong winds and rainy conditions across the country.

I am pleased to confirm that since our last update:

• The specialist roof contractors completed works to remove and secure the damaged section of the roof and that our team carried out further inspections and removal of any insulation material from the surrounding area.
• Western Power Distribution (WPD) completed its inspection and clearance of the power export area.
• Today (22 Feb) we have re-synchronised to the National Grid and re-started exporting electricity.

Please note that waste deliveries and processing have been unaffected throughout the period of very windy weather and continue as normal.
