Speed Indication Devices
Speed Indicating Devices (SIDs) are temporary sign installations that alert road users to the speed at which they are travelling along a given stretch of the highway. Please see our Mobile Speed Indication Devices Policy for full details on how they will be managed.
The data from the mobile Speed Indication Device's (SIDs) will be downloaded, analysed and passed onto the relevant enforcement agencies such as Cornwall Council and Devon & Cornwall Police. For any areas that highlight an issue with speeding, the parish council will request that enforcement action is taken at that location.
