Brittany moved to Cornwall from Essex in 2014 and settled within the parish in 2019. She is married and has a three-year-old daughter, Mabel. Currently a stay-at-home mum, Brittany previously spent ten years working in retail, where she developed strong communication and customer service skills.

Brittany joined St Stephen-in-Brannel Parish Council in July 2026. She was inspired to become a Parish Councillor because she wants to help create a safer, happier community for her daughter to grow up in than the one she experienced herself. As one of the younger members of the community and a regular user of local facilities, she believes she can bring a fresh perspective to the Council. Through daily interactions with a wide range of residents while out and about with Mabel, she enjoys hearing different viewpoints and understanding the needs of the community.

Before joining the Parish Council, Brittany was already actively involved in local community life. She serves on the committee for the Recreation Ground, a space that she and her daughter regularly enjoy together. For the past three years, she has also supported the local M.A.S.H. (Multi Agency Support Hub) group, which meets every Thursday morning at the St Stephen Brannel Rooms.

Outside of her community commitments, Brittany has a passion for music and singing. She has been a member of the Pirates of St Piran shanty group for the past five years and can also often be found singing at weddings. When she gets a little time to herself, she enjoys gaming and has recently rediscovered her love of both Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PlayStation and Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch.

Brittany is passionate about supporting local families, strengthening community connections and helping ensure the parish remains a welcoming place for people of all ages.
