The Parish Council has received the following notification regarding upcoming works in the St Stephen area. Any queries should be directed to CORMAC.

As part of our planned improvement work, a road closure will be in place on the A3058 on Friday 29 October and Monday 1 November while civil engineering and resurfacing works take place.

To minimise disruption and to enable us to complete the works safely the road will be closed in two phases.

On Friday 29 October a closure will be in place on Terras Road, between the fuel station and the junction with Creakavose. Access to Creakavose Park will be restricted to one side of the village. Works will be carried out between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm.

On Monday 1 November Gwindra Road and Long Lane will be closed. This means anyone needing to access High Street, Lanjeth, Trewoon and St Austell will need to follow the signed diversion. Works will take place between 9.30am and 4.00pm.

We will have marshals on site to support residents and businesses needing local access. All through traffic will need to follow the diversions at all times.

Please be assured we will keep disruption to a minimum and complete the works safely and as quickly as we can.
