CERC Operational Update 20th May 2021

May 21st 2021

The Parish Council has received the following e-mail. Any queries should be directed to Suez.

Further to the update given at the forum meeting on Monday, I can confirm that contractors are arriving on site next week in preparation to start the second and final phase of repair works to the energy recovery centre’s roof.

Our planning application to allow VINCI to carry out further weekend working and extended working hours on weekdays, has been granted.

In accordance with the application, work will take place on alternate weekends from 5th June to late November 2021 and will be limited to the hours of 07:00 to 18:00. Work on weekdays will be from 07:00 to 19:00.

Any activities or works that have the potential to be noisy and which could disturb people in the nearby area will be restricted to the normal weekday working hours of 07:30 to 18:00. However, we expect these to be minimal.
