We’re offering rural off-grid communities, that aren’t connected to the mains gas grid, the chance to win up to £5,000 for projects that will improve local life. And applications for funding are open now!

Your project could be anything from a community centre revamp, to initiatives to support the elderly. Whatever it is, we want to hear it!

Supporting you, support your community

It’s Calor’s 85^th birthday this year, so we thought it was only right to bump up the total funding pot to a wonderful £85,000 – our biggest prize pot ever! And with a new prize pot, comes a brand new website. So you’ll need to create a new account to apply for funding and support local projects.

We have 22 prizes up for grabs: 11 x £5,000, 6 x £2,500 and 5 x £1,000 grants. We’re even dishing out £500 to every finalist that doesn’t receive a top prize.

This year we’ve changed the way we’re doing things a little. We’ve partnered with Crowdfunder to give projects the additional option to actively raise money through crowdfunding, and even changed the way you can support your favourite projects.
