The Parish Council have received the following from Gilbert & Goode –
I wanted to let you know we will soon be launching our four shared ownership properties for sale at our scheme on the old Grenville Arms site [Marketing name: Grenville Park].
I have attached a link to the Ocean Housing ‘Coming Soon’ advert which provides further information.
There will be four 3 bed family homes available under the scheme offering shares between 25% – 75% to be purchased with rent payable on the remaining share.
The percentage share that is required to be purchased is based on an affordability assessment.
Local connection requirements will require purchasers to have a connection to the parish of St Stephen in Brannel Parish in the first instance.
Detailed below are the local connection requirements:-
(a) being permanently resident therein for a continuous period of at least three (3) years immediately prior to Advertising; or
(b) being formerly permanently resident therein for a continuous period of five (5) years; or
(c) having his or her place of permanent work (normally regarded as sixteen (16) hours or more a week and not including seasonal employment) therein for a continuous period of at least three (3) years immediately prior to Advertising; or
(d) having a connection through a close family member (normally mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter) where the family member is currently resident therein and has been so for a continuous period of at least five (5) years immediately prior to Advertising
