NOTICE OF VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF PARISH COUNCILLOR

Notice is hereby given of a casual vacancy that exists for ONE Parish Councillor to serve on St Stephen in Brannel Parish Council following the resignation of
Cllr Richard Parker in the following Ward –

St Stephen Ward (One seat)

This seat will be filled by co-option and interested members of the public are invited to apply.

To legally qualify to hold such office you must satisfy one of the following qualifications –

1. Be registered as a local government elector for the Parish of St Stephen in Brannel;
2. Have, during the whole of the preceding twelve months, occupied as owner or tenant, any land or premises in the Parish;
3. Your principal or only place of work during the preceding twelve months has been in the Parish;
4. Have, during the whole of the preceding twelve months, resided in the Parish or within three miles thereof.

If you wish to be considered for co-option, please contact the Clerk for further information and an application form.

All applications need to be returned to the Clerk by 12 noon on Friday 9th August 2019.
