This is excellent news. The shop has changed hands recently and the new owners have obviously decided to put the PO back into the shop. This will be really handy for the local residents and will save them from having to travel further afield to use the services offered by the Post Office. Well done to the new owners.

Hooray ! i’m really glad to hear this news. I know there is meant to be a post office opening in Nanpean, but that is still too far for me and i know many others to travel. Keep it in the village, thats what i say. Good news indeed !

This is good news for surrounding local people…

I do hope however that this will not impede or impair the chances of a new Post Office in the Neighbouring village of Nanpean??

ideal, i’m sick of having to leave the village to visit a Post Office. I know there is meant to be one coming to Nanpean but in many ways its easier to get into St. Austell rather than mess about getting to Nanpean. Foxhole PO being re-opened means that I can do all my shopping and bill payments in Foxhole again, no bother. I did really love the Foxhole shop when it was a Costcutter and the owners of it did a really good job it bringing it back to life before they left at Christmas last year, the place was always busy busy busy but it was a shame when the PO was removed and i’m pleased that the people who have it now have decided to restore the servce.
